Hi, I'm Jaime.

I've spent the last 15-plus years working in operations at private companies, most recently building shared services across a family holding group. Before that, I led human resources and compliance in maritime logistics. I also have a law degree. A good example of how I think about the work is Notes on Killing a Product That Isn't Losing Money.

I competed in practical shooting for a while. These days I dry fire consistently every week, because practice is practice, and I keep up with the industry. I wrote about why in Professionals Dry Fire. I'm also a runner and a father of two.

I write about work, leadership, and getting things done, and whatever else I'm trying to figure out. Mostly for my kids, and maybe anyone else in a similar seat.
